Men's Ministry
Men of Honor
Our men's ministry exists to equip, inform,
and empower men to be better men, husbands, fathers, and friends. We
accomplish this
objective through ongoing encounters at breakfast rallies, men's
advances, and one-on-one discipleship.
B.O.M.B. Squad
The B.O.M.B. Squad is an elite special forces unit within Men of Honor
that is committed to being trained to "Bring Our Men Back". We meet on a weekly basis for in-depth training and discussion of topics relevant to contemporary Christian men.
In order to become members of the B.O.M.B. Squad, men go through an intensive discipleship training program that lasts 24 weeks. Upon graduation from this program, they are commissioned in a special service and presented with a sword of valor that is "never given, always earned". The core values of the B.O.M.B. Squad are "Truth, Discipline, Honor and Love".
The current 24-session training series entitled "Authentic Manhood: Winning at Work and Home" runs through June 14th, 2008. Men enrolled in the curent training will graduate in June and be honored in a special service. A new series will begin every January for ongoing training and enrichment of existing and new B.O.M.B. Squad members.
Meeting Times
The B.O.M.B. Squad meets every Saturday morning from 6:00 am to 8:00 am at Life Changers. We also schedule regular events and outings for men's fellowship and relationship building. For more information about special events, check the church calendar.
