TUMI - LCIM Insitute

Beginning, Monday, March 31, through May 19, we will start the next TUMI class “Hermeneutics”. Join us to learn how to properly interpret the Scriptures. Please see Sister Marsha for more information.

Thaw Program

THAW is a heat and warmth fund that is a partnership with DTE and the Detroit Partnership. Those whose gas is shut off or in shut off status can contact Doris Parker @ 313-527-1603 (our LCIM referral site) and they can assist with restoring gas service. R.E.A.C.H.

The Outreach Evangelism Team, REACH as part of the No Soul Left Behind Initiative is accepting non-perishable food as well as gently used clothing for all age groups for MANNA ministry, a ministry designated to assist individuals who are in need of food and clothing. Water Baptism

According to the Bible, everyone who recognizes his or her need of a Savior and then repents and believes in Christ should be baptized (Acts 2:38,41; 8:36-38). Some who have accepted Christ as adults wonder if the baptism they received as infants fulfills the New Testament mandate of water baptism (1 Peter 3:21). In the Assemblies of God we believe baptism in water is to follow salvation as demonstrated in the New Testament. For this reason we urge all new converts to follow the biblical pattern of water baptism in obedience to Christ.

If you have not been baptized with water since receiving Salvation, and would like to take that public step of faith, please sign up at the Welcome Center for the next upcoming opportunity.
